The Singapore newspaper Sin Chew Daily has reported that the National University of Singapore has been forced to warn students of a ghost of a headless woman who has been roaming the campus.

The signboard with the warning has been placed at the front entrance to the university’s Federal Building in the Bukit Timah campus.

The Sin Chew Daily explains that the notice describes a number of ghosts which can be found in the haunted university. In addition to the headless woman there are reports of Japanese soldiers marching the length of the building corridors and lights flickering on and off.

The Zoology Department has their own resident spirit who operates the elevator. Students have reported a class room in which chairs and tables seem to have thrown themselves through the air.

Officials from the University admitted that nine similar posters had been placed around the campus.

Charles Goh, founder of Asia Paranormal Investigators, noted that the allegedly haunted elevator no longer exists and the Faculty of Law had moved into the old Zoology Department building some time ago.
