First, how we don’t earn money: we don’t disguise ads as editorial, and we don’t sell your personal information.

Second, how do we make money then?
In summary; we don’t. In Pure Spirit is a loss-making, privately owned, hobby blog. However, we try and make money in three ways. They are;
Display ads. The site, like so many others, uses display ads. For every thousand ads, visitors see then In Pure Spirit typically receives a few cents. We use WordPress ads.
Affiliate marketing. The site runs technology (Awin and Skimlinks) that checks to see if any website linked to from the blog might offer us a commission/percentage of the money earned on purchases made by the visitors we send them. We don’t know which links as it depends on when someone clicks, where they are in the world and a whole bunch of other stuff we do not track.
Sponsorships. We might agree to write about a thing, include a video, interview or product reveal. In these cases, we will say so on the post itself. We do not accept payment for reviews but do occasionally receive the thing being reviewed to review it.
