Real silver dice

Actual silver dice are a rarity. They’re used by seers with enough ability to actually channel and afford them. They’re used by households with a touch of class.

Satanists desecrate Kercher murder house

February 19, 2009 by Andrew Leave a Comment

Meredith Kercher
Image via Wikipedia

Italian detectives are investigating a break in of the house where British student Meredith Kercher was murdered.

The house is a crime scene, sealed off with police tape but no longer actively guarded by police officers.

The intruders ransacked the house and left behind four knives and a burned candle. Candle wax was also found in Meredith’s bedroom.

Occult and forms of devil worship are not uncommon in Italy and there are other reported incidents of break ins at murder scenes which have left behind the suggestions of rituals.

Italian police suspect devil worshippers. It could be that the occultists consider the border between this world and the next weaker at the scene of the murder and are attempting to contact spirits.

An alternative theory is that the break ins are not the work of devil worshippers at all. Instead spiritual vigilantes may be attempting to communicate with the spirit of the murdered person in an attempt to divine the identity of the murderer.

In Pure Spirit

How thoroughly do you think the Italian police should investigate this break in? More or less thoroughly than they investigate a break in of a house used by a living person and where their property was taken?

Do you think the Italian authorities are right to suspect devil worshipers?

Which type of karmic debt are you carrying?

January 22, 2009 by Andrew 9 Comments

Pythagorean numerology believes in reincarnation.

Each reincarnation helps our spiritual self inch closer to a state of higher awareness however in some incarnations we make mistakes and may even commit crimes. These mistakes manifest themselves as karmic debt.

The double-digit numbers 13, 14, 16 and 19 represent this karmic debt. They are most important when they manifest in your core numbers and in particular your Life Path, Heart’s Desire, Personality and Birth Day.

Each of the karmic debt numbers has its own special meaning, its own characteristics and each represents its own unique challenge.

Pythagorean numerology often reduces numbers to a single-digit so how can these double-digit numbers occur?  The number 1 is reached by adding 1+0, 2+8 or 3+7 for example. 3+7 totals 10 which in turn becomes 1+0 and 1.

In addition, the numbers 1, 4, 5 and 7 can be preceded by certain two-digit combinations in order to highlight the karmic debt number. When the number 7 is preceded by the number 16 we count the 16, when the number 5 is preceded by the number 14 we count the 14 and when the number 3 is preceded by the number 13 then we count the 13.

The number 13 in karmic debt

People with carrying the karmic debt of 13 may often feel that for every two steps forward they take one step back. As a result, some give up and others succumb to laziness. However, hard work is the watchword of the number 13 and with focus and concentration, those burdened by the number will succeed.

The number 14 in karmic debt

This karmic debt is often accrued through overindulgence in previous lives. As a result, those burdened by the number may once again fall prey to the temptations of drugs, alcohol, too much food or other heady delights. The watchword of the number 14 is commitment. This karmic debt is overcome by leading an ordered but flexible life.

The number 16 in karmic debt

The number 16 represents revolution, the pulling down of the old establishment in favour of something new. It stands for regeneration as much as it does for destruction. Those burdened by the number 16 will experience this; they will experience a great fall but will regenerate and recover with strength.  Humility is essential and the ego is a great weakness.

The number 19 in karmic debt

This karmic debt drives people towards the extremes of independence and sometimes isolation. The challenge faced by those carrying this burden is to open up and accept help from others.  Lessons are often learnt the hard way by those living with the number 19.

In Pure Spirit

Do you carry any of the karmic debt numbers? What does it mean to you? Do you think one of these numbers might be in play in your life?

Demons from the TV: safety tips

January 16, 2009 by Andrew 3 Comments

It’s pretty common to feel the chills after watching a TV program like Most Haunted or Ghost Hunters. Sometimes, however, sensitive people might suspect that there is more going on than just a case of getting the spooks and that the atmosphere at home has really changed.

The question is can a demon or apparition enter your home through a TV?

Needless to say that the stars of the TV programs are quick to say that this is not possible and you should not worry. Many of the kinder presenters may even have second thoughts about their investigations if they thought they would be putting members of the public at risk.

Nevertheless these programs also frequently read out audience feedback where dogs have barked at the TV or viewers have been able to sense a presence in the haunted location through the webcams.

If there’s no connection between the haunted location and the TV then what are the dogs barking at? If viewers can feel the presence of demonic entities then why can’t the demonic entity also feel them?

In many respects, a TV simply acts in the same way as a mirror. In technical terms, some TVs are very similar to mirrors; reflecting light back at the viewer.

Ancient people were rightly fascinated with mirrors and reflections. Many divination arts make use of reflections.

The Wiccan tradition asks that practitioners use protective rituals before using mirrors as a portal to the spirit world or as a communication device.

Fire

Be careful of fire. Fire can be used to help exorcise and push back demonic influences but fire is also used to invite and empower entities. Folk magic warns us against placing candles in front of mirrors as they may well entice something through the portal.

Salt

Salt candle holders are recommended*. Many demons are unable to cross salt and some cannot bear it at all. For maximum effect use a natural way of lighting the flame; avoid chemicals and try modern flints such as the Swedish FireSteel*.  This combination lets you use fire as safely as possible.

Salt, of course, can also be used by itself. A line or ring of salt can be a simple but effective defence.

Safe mirrors

Another precaution is to avoid mirrors that most resemble portals or pools of water. Diamond shaped mirrors* are one of the safest shapes and multi-layers mirrors* are even better as they can be used to break the reflection of the TV set.

Holy Symbols

Holy symbols work best if you have faith and conviction in their message. It is believed that Sean Manchester used a silver cross to thwart the Bikenhead witch Alex Sanders from summoning a demon in 1971.

A more modern alternative is to attach the holy symbol to your mobile as a phone charm*.

Getting help

Finally, be aware that people like Paul Bennett will offer spiritual aid and exorcisms for free or you could pay to have a professional like Samantha offer a psychic reading over the internet.

In Pure Spirit

Have you ever sensed the presence of a malevolent entity in your home after watching something on TV? How did you cope or did the presence remove itself after a while?

Do you think TVs are enough like mirrors to allow something to pass through? If not then how is it possible psychics in the audience can sense something while watching the show?

Do you have any of your own safety tips to share?

Psychic Medium Readings over Skype: What to expect

January 14, 2009 by Andrew 1 Comment

Here at In Pure Spirit we reached out to Samantha at needapsychic.co.uk rather optimistically. With our fingers crossed we asked whether she would be kind enough to compose a guest post for the site – we were especially keen that Samantha would be willing to write us something about the use of Skype and psychic medium readers.

Skype is a computer program which, like VOIP software, allows you to chat over the internet. You can download Skype for free.

Samantha is a full time psychic and we’re very lucky to have both her time and her expertise for this post.

Psychic Medium Readings over Skype: What to expect.

Hello everyone

I wanted to write today about how to achieve the best from your readings. So many people are now turning to me for spiritual guidance that I feel it is important for you to know that you are able to improve the quality of your own readings. However as I always say to my clients, the messages given will be what you need to hear or know right now in life, not necessarily what you want to hear!

Firstly, I would say don’t pay out for a reading unless you feel you really need one, there is an anniversary of a passing, a birthday or you are just feeling completely drawn. When this happens it is because spirit have something they wish to share with you. Readings that serve a purpose rather than those that are simply to fill in time are always far more productive.

I also advise people not to beg and plead for a certain deceased relative to come through as this neediness is a negative energy and can in fact make the linkage difficult to achieve. Relax. Know that the best person for your situation will step forward whoever they are.

So how should you prepare yourself?

Well, I always say allow your intuition to lead you to the right reader. Go to the one that you feel drawn to rather than let price and availability make your decision for you. Decide before making the call the area of life that you would like to initially focus on, this helps the reader to achieve a stronger link with your own energy and relax.

I like to work to a question such as ‘what is coming up for me in my intimate relationships?’ or ‘why am I going through this particular situation?’.

Make sure you wont be disturbed during the reading and switch off your phone and any music you have playing. This is to allow the energy to flow beautifully between you and the reader.

Skype is a wonderful way to get a reading whether it is through skype chat or skype text but when using skype chat please remember that the reader is using your voice to empower his or her link to the spirit world.

Which moves me on to how to ‘behave’ to get the best out of your readings. Many people think that by remaining silent or not letting on if the medium is giving correct information that they are being clever some how. As if it is their role to test the medium.

I can understand that some people are looking for the proof but I must point out that this kind of behaviour actually is negative and creates a block. A wall as it were which can make it difficult for the medium to connect on your behalf. You are hindering the reading.

To get the best reading possible I suggest that you always tell the medium the area of life that you are looking for guidance on, don’t give the details, just the area and say yes that makes sense to me or no or not exactly, you see the medium needs to recognise if he or she needs to strengthen the link or tell Spirit to communicate clearer.

Spirit often talk in code so that the reader does not know the ins and outs of your life and therefore without your guidance they will unable to get the full message through. So, what we need to achieve the best reading is you focused on your question, undisturbed and relaxed. Nice positive energy and open body language to allow the energy to flow.

The reader is going to form a link with your energy and then use your energy to connect with those is spirit linked to you so a minute or two may be needed at the beginning of the reading whilst this is carried out.

During the reading a lot of readers will use cards or runes initially to help focus the energies. This is done so that they are able to get to the heart of the matter. So don’t be surprised if the reader asks you to say when to stop shuffling the cards and you may be asked to pick left, middle or right as they cut the pack into three sections for you to choose. The best way is to give the first answer that comes into your head.

Allow yourself to be guided also. Usually your reader will give you some information and then wait for a response, this is because there is the need for clarity and acceptance of the message before spirit will give the next bit of information. So please respond, especially when carrying out the reading through chat, loving, positive energy is much more productive and will ensure that you get a far better reading than if you are defensive.

A good medium is never judgmental. Finally, I would like to say relax, enjoy and remember that the words are a gift to you from spirit but as in all things in life, there is free will, and it is ultimately your choice how to live and what to do in the situations you are in, in the end.

Love and blessings,
Samantha

Psychic criminology is the use of psychics in the investigation of civil or criminal cases. Psychic criminology is also used in jury selection.

Psychic criminology has grown since World War II, has had a number of public successes with some celebrity psychics but remains controverial.

Psychometry is the main psychic technique used in psychic criminology and the investigator will handle a number of objects such as suspected murder weapons, items belonging to the victim or in some cases the suspect. Dowsers are also sometimes used to locate missing people, items or locations.

Vanga Dimitrova is an example of one of many successful investigators. The blind Hungarian became a State employed psychic in 1966 after successfully helping in dozens of investions and being tested by government researcher Dr Lozanov.

What do you think? Should police forces make more use of psychic criminology? What about homeland defense forces?

The difference between astronomy and astrology

December 13, 2008 by Andrew Leave a Comment

Zodiac clock in San Marco, Venice

It’s not uncommon for people unfamiliar with either astronomy or astrology to confuse the two terms.

Astronomy

Astronomy is a science. It is the study of the stars, planets and celestial entities such as comets, galaxies and occurrences outside the Earth’s atmosphere such as solar flares and cosmic radiation.

The origin of the word is Greek; astron means ‘star’ and nomos means ’law’.
In the historic past astrology was considered a legitimate discipline of astronomy but the two today are very distinct.

Astrology

The origin of the word astrology is very similar to astronomy. The Greek components are astron which means ‘star’ and logia which means ‘the study of’.

Astrology is the study of celestial bodies and it is astrology which uses the Zodiac to identify personality traits and as a divination technique.

There are more than one form of astrology; Western astrology tends to use the tropical zodiac and is different from Vedic astrology which uses sidereal zodiac.  Chinese astrology is different from both the Vedic and Western traditions.

In Pure Spirit

Which do you think came first? Astronomy or astrology? Do we need to keep the two completely separate or is there an overlap?
