The Poznan Solstice paper lantern record

July 10, 2011 by Andrew Leave a Comment

On June 21, the first day of summer and the Solstice, thousands gathered in the Polish city of Poznan. The result is a Polish record and a wonderful video.

More than 11,000 paper lanterns where sent into the twilight sky. The goal next year is to break the Guinness world record and given the internet success of this video – I think they could do it.

What do you think of the videos? Impressive or underwhelming?
