The Ovilus is a piece of electronic equipment from Digital Dowsing designed to assist paranormal investigators.

The Ovilus II will replace the Ovilus I which is no longer in production and has sold out. There is an iPhone version; the i0vilus which can be downloaded here.

The device became famous after it was used in the movie The Possessed which has featured on SyFy and Spooked TV. The device has a 1,000 word dictionary and attempts to work with the theory that external forces can effect a response. This is known as Instrumental Trans Communications.
