This video from Invisible Children is incredible. It’s about 30 minutes long – have you watched many YouTube videos that long?
I was only going to watch the start when I saw the first tweet about it a few hours ago. I watched the whole thing.
A few hours ago the video had about 3 million views. Now it’s had well over 7 million. That’s 7 million people who have spent 30 minutes finding out about Joseph Kony and the horrors he has done.
In fact, you’ve probably seen this video already. This blog post wants to do something a little different. It wants to remind you about Cover the Night. That’s the name for April 20th 2012 – the night where we should all go out and put up Kony “propoganda” and make him famous. April 20th, Cover the Night, is the big impact day.
Don’t forget it.
Put April 20th in your calendar today and Cover the Night.

If you’re looking to buy Kony 2012 stuff then you can do so at Invisible Children Store or you can donate directly here.
Do you think the campaign will work?
This image is also doing the rounds. It might mean that using social media against Kony is pointless – but it could also mean that just using social media is not enough. We need to successfully engage politicans and inspire them to move.
Update Some have very serious concerns about the people behind this video. I recommend read this before donating.
I found some kits at http://www.konyninja.com/kony-shirts They are also giving back 50% of all sales to Invisible Children. found them at http://konycoverthenight.com
