Indigo Children

December 28, 2008 by Andrew Leave a Comment

Indigo Children are promoted by some to be the next stage of human evolution. They are empathic, creative and some may have paranormal abilities.

The name Indigo Children is derived from the indigo aura which surrounds them and visible to psychics able to perceive auras.

Two popular books have helped introduce the Indigo Children concept to the new age world. The first, Understanding Your Life Through Color was published in 1982 by Nancy Ann Tappe and the second The Indigo Children* (USA *) was published in 1998 by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober.

Indigo Children tend to be active. They are often diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) by traditional doctors. It is believed that the Indigo Children are forerunners who here to do away with contemporary systems and mechanisms of society and governance which no longer work.

Nancy Ann Tappe first started to notice children with indigo auras in the 1960s. It is from the Indigo Children basis that observations like the Crystal Children stem from.
