Four ancient Egyptian temples discovered on the Way of Horus

Xinhuanet has reported that four temples have been unearthed near Qantara near the Suez Canal. One of the temples is believed to be the largest mud brick temple found in the important Sinai region.

One temple included decorations dedicated to Ramses I and Ramses II. The grandeur and scale of the temples lead experts to suggest that they may have been paramount in impressing foreign dignitaries visiting Egypt.
