Are bats scary? What about baby bats with hiccups?

Are you scared of bats? Some people certainly are. Other people are worried about the diseases that bats are believed to carry.

That said; I’ll be surprised if anyone is too terrified by the video above. Sure, Jim loses a glove in his attempt to rescure the bat, and that might be scary to some fashion fans – but that’s about the extent of the horror.

Did you know bats are not blind? They have poor eyesight but in lab tests bats have shown the ability to see shapes and colours. An even bigger myth is that bats easily become entangled in long hair – this would require the bat, with its advanced echo-style sonar, to decide to fly at your head.
