According to some legends the Canary Islands where once the site of Atlantis. Plato described Atlantis as being larger than Libya and Asia together in “Timeos and Critias” and that it was located beyond the Columns of Hercules. That would put it on the Atlantic side of the Straight of Gibraltar.
Zeus is said to have punished Atlantis, destroying the island with volcanoes and a tidal wave. Only the islands of Madeira, Azores, Cape Verde and Canaries remain.

There are many places around this world that are bits of what was once Alantis from florida, Ierland and parts of the Alantic. For thousands of years they survived, and their technology was so far advanced that they even had space ships, what happened to them? There are many stories one is that a group of people broke the universal law, and wanted to control people by pulling in a small moon and use it as a spy place to watch everyone, much like we are being watched to day by the miss use of technology.
well they used a Laser to pull it in but their little ideas were not to be as the moon broke up in two halves one part plunging into the alantic ocean, even to day scientists know of an area at the bottom of the ocean where there is no crust of the earth, this is where half a small moon is buried, the force of the impact took all of the land masses down under the earths crust. what was left over of a once great people was just bits of scatterd land masses, those who survived the floods became what is known to day as big foot while others became the early Greeks and so on, Very interesting
