The Age of Disclosure: Is the government finally admitting aliens exist?

November 22, 2025 by Andrew Leave a Comment

The truth is out there… or at least, it’s on streaming.

For decades, the idea of the US government admitting to the existence of aliens was the stuff of tin-foil hats and The X-Files reruns. But a new documentary, The Age of Disclosure, claims that the “I Want to Believe” poster on Mulder’s wall might need updating to “I Know.”

Directed by Dan Farah, this film isn’t just another blurry video of a light in the sky. It features high-ranking officials—including former Pentagon insiders and Senators—who are going on the record to say: we are not alone.

Here is a look at the claims, the controversy, and why the world might finally be ready for the truth.

The Essentials

  1. 1

High-ranking Pentagon insiders are finally stepping forward to claim that we are truly not alone.

  2. 2

New claims expose a “Legacy Programme” that has allegedly hidden alien bodies from US Presidents.

  3. 3

With Congress now involved, discover why we might be just moments away from official disclosure.

The “Legacy Programme” and Presidential Secrets

Delve Deeper

    Gazing into the archives...

The documentary’s biggest bombshells come from its roster of interviewees. We’re talking about people like Luis Elizondo, the former head of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and Jay Stratton, a former director of the UAP task force.

Their claims are nothing short of cinematic. The film alleges the existence of a “Legacy Programme,” a secret operation involving the retrieval of crashed non-human craft and—brace yourself—biological remains. Yes, they are talking about alien bodies.

One of the most startling anecdotes involves former President George H.W. Bush. According to the film, Bush was privately briefed about a 1964 incident at Holloman Air Force Base in which three spacecraft allegedly landed and a non-human entity communicated with officials. The catch? He was reportedly told he didn’t have the “need to know” to see the full files.

If presidents are being kept in the dark, who is holding the flashlight?

    From Folklore to “Non-Human Intelligence”

While the term “UAP” (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) is the modern scientific rebranding, the concept of visitors from the stars is as old as humanity itself.

In many ways, modern UFO lore echoes the ancient stories of “Star People” found in Indigenous cultures across the Americas. These legends often speak of beings descending from the sky to teach or observe humanity. Are we seeing a technological version of these ancient myths?

It also taps into a deep psychological phenomenon. We humans are pattern-seeking creatures. Whether it’s seeing faces in the clouds (pareidolia) or searching for order in the chaos of the universe, we are hardwired to look for connection. The idea that a “Legacy Programme” has been hiding the truth for 80 years validates the feeling that there is more to reality than what we are told.

    The Sceptics: Hero or Huckster?

Of course, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and this is where The Age of Disclosure faces its stiffest criticism.

While the testimony is compelling, 34 officials putting their reputations on the line is no small thing, the film lacks the “smoking gun” physical evidence. There are no pieces of alien metal you can touch, and no 4K video of a handshake with a Grey.

Critics have pointed out that Luis Elizondo is a polarising figure. To some, he is a hero blowing the whistle on the “greatest lie in history.” To others, including some Pentagon spokespeople who have disputed his responsibilities, he is seen as chasing the spotlight.

Director Dan Farah argues that the testimony is the evidence. He suggests that physical proof would just be dismissed as AI or CGI anyway. But for the scientific community, stories, no matter how high-ranking the storyteller, are not data.

    Want to Investigate for Yourself?

If you want to spot a UAP yourself, you’ll need to get away from the city lights. Why not book a trip to Roswell, New Mexico, or the dark skies of the Nevada desert? You can find great flight and hotel deals on Expedia or Booking.com.

For those who prefer to research from the safety of their sofa, you can pick up Luis Elizondo’s book Imminent or other top-rated UFO literature on Amazon. Or, if you just want to embrace the aesthetic, check out the incredible alien-themed art and gifts from independent creators on Etsy.

    A New Era of Transparency?

Whether you believe every word or remain a hardened sceptic, one thing is undeniable: the conversation has shifted. Senators like Marco Rubio and Kirsten Gillibrand are openly discussing the national security risks of these objects.

The film concludes with a bold prediction: that a sitting US President will soon stand at the podium and confirm that we are part of a larger cosmic community.

Until then, we’ll keep watching the skies.
