Jedburgh Castle
Jedburgh Castle is in Jedburgh Scotland and is noted for its haunted jail. In 1994 the Glamorgan Paranormal Society spent a night inside and was reportedly subject to a large amount of paranormal activity.
The jail had three blocks; one for children, one for women and one for men. It also provided its own gallows. The last person to be hanged there was the murderer Thomas Wilson.
Hauntings
A ghostly piper has been reported standing and playing from the castle’s battlements. Visitors have reported strange lights and, in some instances, smoke from the jail cells.

hi guys,me an my boyfriend went to jedburgh castle about 3 weeks ago i caught a few strange images on camera,we checked out 2 cell blocks but the 3rd woz closed to the public due to refurnishment!!!this block woz featured in most haunted when they filmed live at jedburgh about 3 months ago,where there woz alot of paranormal activity in cell 18 an 19,which sadly we didnt get to see this time,but im not dis heartened because i come away with some good pictures which i took in the other cell blocks,i definately will return to jedburgh castle again,it woz definately one of my favourite places, andree from glasgow
