This video was taken in the Republic of Palau – an island nation some 800km east of the Philippines. As a sovereign state it was only born in 1994 but was probably first settled over 3,000 years ago. The tiny island nation was once sold by Spain to Germany, was controled by Japan, taken by America who gained official control in 1947.
Sarosh Jacob has found an amazing lake in this tiny, young country – Jellyfish Lake. With the help of music from Radiohead, a Canon 5D MkII and some aquatica housing he has produced this stunning video.

What do you think? Would you swim in a lake filled with jellyfish? Are videos like this just the thing to help support the young nation of Palau or is there a risk that tourism might destroy the ecosystem?
