A new documentary on Pendle Hill and the Pendle Witches was brought to a dramatic stop this week when three of the production crew were struck down with a violent illness. The incident happened during the filming of a séance. Roy Basnett, the renowned broadcaster and ghost-hunter, and investigators from Pathfinder PI had been attempting to contact the spirits of the witches in a barn on the hill.
